I bought the regular car jar and it didn't do anything but smell for 1 day, so I bought four of these ultimate jars and I have used 2 of them (one in my car and one in my small bathroom) and I didn't smell anything at all, not even for a brief period of time. I love this scent and this product disappointed me. I am not having luck with the smaller scent products. I will stick with the room spray, wax tarts and large jars, as they are perfect for my nose that wants strong scents. Sorry Yankee, but this was a total miss for me :(

When it finally dried out the smell was awful. I got her 6 vanilla cupcake car airfreshners. We priming the vents and put the car key on for about 20 minutes the windows rolled up when we open the door we got hit in the face with the sweet smell of vanilla cupcakes it was great. And the Yankee Candle car accessories last a long time they lasted almost a month which is a long time for air fresheners that go in your car and it's also a variety of sense you can choose from which is great as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Car Smells Awesome! I bought this car jar because my car smelled funky after all of the salt and slush my carpets absorbed from the winter. I love the smell, it's one of my favorites and it's not overpowering in my car. This air freshener did its job wonderfully! Even after four weeks of use, the smell of cupcakes is present in my car. The only downside about these car jars is that they are held in a plastic case that melts when left in the car during hot months. The melting isn't bad, the plastic simply pops open and becomes disfigured; no melting onto the dash of the car.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delicious and strong I used this in my car and it's lasted more than a week, it's still giving a fairly strong fragrance. Just like the Christmas Cookie fragrance from Yankee Candle, this one's sweet and powerful, and immediately makes me think of cookies and pastries. I'd like to mention that the style is really nice too. I've got a new car and hanging one of these from the rear view mirror looks good. I like a new-car smell, but I actually used these to get rid of it; that's how nice the cupcake flavor is.

I don't care for it much but ... not my car ... not my choice LOL. The scent definitely smells like a vanilla cupcake which is very yummy but I don't care for 'food' scented candles .... they make me crave whatever is 'burning' lol. It's certainly an enjoyable scent for the car as it's not too strong nor does it appear to linger much. Honestly, the first time I rode in the car after he hung it I couldn't even tell the previous one had been replaced. The product, itself, doesn't appear to last 30 days. I'd probably try a different method such as the vent clip but he's the boss of his car and so I'll get him what he wants. lol

I wish these "car jar" things would just last longer and be more pronounced (for a larger car or SUV). In an SUV that has some larger spaces, the fragrance is completely lost. In my Buick Le Sabre 2001 4-door sedan, it is perfect.
