Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not just a car freshner Yankee candle use to make book markers since not as many people read books anymore they stopped so now I open the car fresheners up all the way let it hang in my office for 3 days before placing inside a book. I use different scents for different kinds of books. It so much to loan a book out and have it returned and the reader says that smelled so good! There reward for returning the book is I give them one of the air fresheners.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Product I've used Midsummer's Night in my car on and off and keep coming back to it. From time to time I experiment with other fragrances but IMO, Midsummer's Night is the best. This is my signature vehicle scent because I find it clean and relaxing. The Ultimate Car Jar is much longer-lasting as well as stronger than the regular Car Jar, so if you don't love the smell it would be too overwhelming for you. However, I'm quite pleased with it, and will continue to repurchase for myself and my spouse. (I buy other scents and try them out in his car first! My husband is my guinnea pig.) Of note: the more YC products I buy (slight addiction), the more I realize they are better at scenting their NON-CANDLE products than their "housewarmer" jar fragrances. Hmmm.

They really help that funky smell in his truck. I can finally ride in it again! He prefers these over the vent clips. He says they're stronger and last longer.

Midsummer's Night is a great scent-it is the scent we use in our basement where the guys all hang out-reminds me of a man's cologne in a really good way - had bought this in the cardboard style for the car & loved it-we have a SUV, so I thought I'd try this bottle style as I had read it really has a stronger smell which I thought would be great for a bigger vehicle-I do not know what the problem is-none of us can smell it unless we put it right up to our noses-we bought it a while back, but just put it in the car last week. My husband finally rigged it so it would be more open to see if that will help-if not, I just have to assume we also got a bad one & no sense in sending back with s/h costs-will just stick with the cardboard one next time. We paid full price for the one we have, so I have to go with no, I wouldn't take the chance even @ current sale price--so not worth it based on the one we have right now.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice scent but not longlasting I really likes this masculine scent. It reminded me of a cologne from years past. I hung it in my bathroom to see how long it would last since I do not drive my car that much to rate it that way. I did not find this item to be worth the price. I ended up setting it on my vent to get the most scent but it still was not very strong. Great idea that needs a boost to make it worth the price.
