Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Fresh and Relaxing Summer Scent I recently purchased "Pink Sands" after smelling it a few times in the store. It was a purchase I am glad I made! I really enjoy this candle. It's hard to describe the scent in words because I think it is uniquely different. It's a very fresh scent that is not over-powering. There is a hint of floral undertones, but I cannot smell the vanilla. This scent doesn't remind me of the beach, but is definitely a summer scent. It is easily able to scent a room in about a hour and seems to have a more "intense" aroma than other candles I have bought this spring, which I like. I definitely recommend this candle!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not loving the aroma I decided to treat myself to this last week. I have been deliberating over it for many months but every time I smelt it in the shops I thought this has to be my favourite, unfortunately I am really not keen on it when it is burnt. Would recommend that before anyone splurges on a large jar you try a votive or the like first. The ratings for quality, value and appearance don't really add much value as these areas are pretty much standard for Yankee candles, you know how much you are paying, what it looks like and what to expect, my comments and dislike is really only based on the aroma which quite frankly makes me feel nauseous.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Neutral [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am rating this fragrance three stars due to it has the potential to give off a beautiful fragrance as described but you really can’t smell it if your room is not designed properly. Meaning, if you do not have high ceiling or good air floor, you probably won’t be able to smell the fragrance. If you live is a a building that is old with carpeting I do not recommend purchasing it because you can’t smell it. However as stated in the beginning it does have the potential if your environmental is suitable for this light fragrance. The one that I have absolutely no trouble smelling at all no matter the condition is Home Sweet Home.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of My Favorites!! I bought this because of the great reviews and I must say that I completely agree that Pink Sands is one of the best candles by far. The fragrance is not overwhelming, but a nice relaxing scent that reminds me of having a pink lemonade slush on a warm day. Makes me look forward to summer here in New England!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great scent [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this candle as a special bonus that Yankee occasionally provides upon check out to their customers (BTW, excellent idea). It was a chance I took because I had not smelled this particular scent prior to purchase. This candle is a winner. It has a subtle fruity scent that brightens the room for summer time. The scent throw is fairly powerful but not over whelming and does not bother my allergies or asthma or give me a headache. I definitely recommend this scent!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from my favorite! This candle smells like spring and happiness! It's got a very light smell, one you will not get tired of. The cold throw on this one is particularly good - often I am sitting on the couch and think the one on the side table is lit even when it isn't.
