Strong, but not overpowering
Sparkling Cinnamon is always one of my favorite scents for Christmas and the winter season. It has a great throw which is a must for our home. We have a tri-level home and with small children I only have one place on the main level that I feel comfortable having a candle lit. We spend much of our time downstairs since that is where our family room is located and this candle carries throughout the house. The scent immediately makes me think of Christmas, but I enjoy burning it throughout the winter. It's just a warm, feel good smell and one that I go back to every year. Highly recommended, especially if you are looking for a stronger scent that will carry.

BRIGHT CINNAMON SCENT
I buy several true-scented candles as gifts every year...and I give a lot of gifts. This candle is one of my have-to-buy's. It is different than Cinnamon Stick....it is like Red-Hots that have been warmed in the oven. Really wonderful scent that everyone loves. It's a wonderful Christmas red candle that looks perfectly festive. Great throw that fills my friends home (who is spoiled to Yankee Candles no), which is an average-sized, single-story house. Personally, I like to burn two or more candles and get a good scent-layered atmosphere going on and this candle can be paired-up with several different Yankees.

Where oh where has the scent GONE!!
I purchased 3 sparkling cinnamon candles, 1 for each of my daughters and one for myself. I was embarrassed when I went to thanksgiving at my daughters' home and the candle did not give off any scent, just that of a lit candle. NO SCENT. I went home and tried mine and it is the same thing. When I called my other daughter in CA she said hers was just like the other two I had purchased, she didn't want to mention it because she didn't want me to feel bad, after all it was a gift. I have purchased many candles from Yankee candle in the past and always been pleased. But not this time

Disappointing Purchase
I purchased the Sparkling Cinnamon Candle in the Large Jar size in January. I burned the candle the end of February, first week of March. The initial scent was "light", but it improved slightly after the wax pooled. However, from the beginning, the candle began to "tunnel" and continued to burn that way until this morning. The scent continued to be "light" to barely discernable. The candle finished burning this morning when the wick reached the metal.
This candle was really a disappointment. Not much scent, and it burned a tunnel through the middle of the candle, wasting much of the wax. Pictures are attached.

Not very fragrant and burns unevenly
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought 4 candles and this one in particular doesn't have nearly as much fragrance as the other 3. When I burn sugared plums or balsam and cedar my whole first floor smells lovely. With this sparkling cinnamon I barely get a whiff when I'm walking by it. Also it's tunnelling way worse than any yankee I've ever owned. I trim my wicks and burned for at least 4 hours on the first burn but the candle is tunneling in a 2" diameter utilizing only half of the candle. None of the other candles have this issue. It's a shame because I love the scent but the quality doesn't measure up.

Fantastic Scent Throw
Sparkling Cinnamon is a must-have if you like any kind of cinnamon, spicy, baking-type scents. This is an authentic, true cinnamon smell and it's very warm and comforting. Very good scent throw and I love burning this with other scents as well; it blends very nicely.
I like the label and I look forward to burning this one every winter.

No Red-Hots here...
A cinnamon based candle with a soft flow, this is not your typical "red-hots" kind of scent. It does indeed have a strong throw, but the spice of the cinnamon is more nearer to that of what you would use for baking and not the firey candy that makes your eyes water. I typically mix this one with Balsam and Cedar or White Christmas, but it is not so strong that it cannot be the focal point. A fresh undertone does compliment and help difuse some of the spice, and I would wager that people who normally do not like the smell of cinnamon will love this candle! It's another one of my Christmastime staples.

Like Cinnamon Stick with a sparkly holiday bow!
Sparking Cinnamon reminds me very much of Y.C.'s Cinnamon Stick as they're both a blending of cinnamon and cloves. The label on S.C. actually has some holiday sparkle. The description of the two fragrances is nearly identical. I bought both C.S. and S.C. on a recent Y.C. sale just to compare them. I favor Cinnamon Stick just because it's more year round friendly, while Sparkling Cinnamon comes across as a lovely fragrance accent to your celebration & holiday décor. Either way, the throw is moderately strong and a welcome Winter/cold weather variety.
