Rated 3 out of 5 by from What happened? I started using Midsummers Night over 20 years ago and loved it! It is without a doubt the strongest scent I have found which is what I want. Well what happened? I purchased 6 of the large tumblers, they smelled great when I took the lid off. I have a large first floor so I put 1 kit, 1 LR, 3 FR and 1 in Master. Enough to knock you over. When my husband came home I asked him how the house smelled? He replied what is it supposed to smell like?? I was shocked, I went out and when I returned I didn't notice anything. I have burned the candles 6/7 times now with the same results. Now either I bought defective candles or there isn't as much oil in them any more.

I met my soulmate/husband On a midsummer night :D I had met him on an online game and when he flew in from his state to move in I had a limo bring him to his new home. And it was late at night and it was a full moon, its almost like this candle was meant for us. I even got a personal one with our wedding picture on it. I just can't say enough wonderful things about this scent. Everything about this candle is amazing. Thank you so much again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this fragrance! Midsummer's Night is a warm,fabulous fragrance. Not too sweet; a bit of spice. I'm mostly a sandalwood/ patchouli/cinnamon kind of gal. It reminds me of a man's 'high-end' cologne without being too overpowering. (I wear Paloma Picasso, Red Door & Kenneth Cole Black for Women- to give you an idea about this candle's fragrance notes). Exotically masculine, yet romantic. Makes a great gift for the 'man who has everything' as well as for the woman who loves that man! I love this candle! I also buy this fragrance in the 'car-jar' for my car.

She is now 37 and still loves it. Guess the scent of a manly man captures her attention. She is married and a mother of three !!

Not just the smell, the fact that they are SAFE to burn. I have never worried about a jar cracking due to heat. I wanted a black candle for October and fell in love with the thick linger of Midsummers Night. You can put it in any jar holder(not just a witch's boot) to match your decor and the scent lingers in your home. Pink Sands and Silver Birch were always my " go to" candles. Midsummers Night has won the number one spot on my list. If you are a candle lover like me, don't make a mistake by missing out on this incredible scent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smells like a handsome man and wards off bad vibes [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Walking down the isle of my local department store, I stumbled upon upon the most eye catching candle in the midst of last fall. The deep midnight color of this candle caught my eye, and after taking a large whiff, I was captivated by its essence. I purchased it without a second thought. And as soon as I returned to my home, I lit the candle let the musky aroma full my house, on that crisp fall Tuesday night. After my 37th purchase of this candle. I can say there’s truly no going back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not like it used to be... The first burn of this jar was strong. Every burn subsequent to that has been very faint. The candle has had trouble with burning all the way to the edges of the glass, plus the flame stays low. Midsummer's Night used to be one of the strongest, most reliable fragrances. Now, it's a disappointment because it is just the opposite of that. Perhaps it was a bad batch? I'll see if I can make it back to the store to exchange...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is it Yankee’s big kahuna. I’m 38 years old but could have told you 25 years ago that this is the best candle ever. If you don’t like cologne I just lied to you because this scent is Drakkar Noir. One of Yankee’s most classic label designs too, at least it was before they foolishly ditched the beautiful large labels. Throw is mighty strong on this one and the dark purple-nearly Black wax is captivating.
