Used to be strong. Not anymore. Get melt cups!
I've been buying Clean Cotton for two decades. It's a beautiful scent reminiscent of dry washing powder. It's got an edgy citrus note to it. It's very fresh and clean. It's not floral smelleing in any way. Over the the last several years I find it lighter and lighter. My newest jar hardly has any scent at all and is only suitable for a powder room. I used to be able to burn it in in a much larger area and my two story had high ceilings. Now in my current home with low ceilings I can't smell it. I will not buy another jar of Clean Cotton. I'll only buy melt cups. The melt cups perform the way the jars used to.

Nice Clean Scent!
I love putting this candle in the bathroom. It smells like fresh, clean laundry and the scent permeates the bathroom really nicely getting rid of unwanted odors.
I bought the candle I currently have at the new Outlet in town and the price was really nice, but if I can't find it again at the outlet store I would buy full price because it is totally worth it! I love this scent!
I messed up when I first bought it and only burned it for a short time since I didn't know how to properly burn candles, so it tunneled a bit due to my inexperience. But I was able to fix that easily with the tinfoil method and now it's burning evenly.

I miss my grandma a little less...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I was little, I used to play in my grandma’s yard as she hung the laundry out to dry on her clothesline. I would wander under the damp sheets, breathing in the smell of fresh Cotten and clean. My grandma was my hero, my biggest supporter, and my inspiration. I lost her 10 years ago and have missed her every day. When I discovered Yankee Candle’s Clean Cotton, from the first moment I popped the lid open, I was instantly taken back to my grandma’s yard, laughing and playing. They say scent is the most powerful sense and I agree. Because each time I breathe Clean Cotton in, I miss my grandma just a little less.

My Favourite
My Favourite scent of all and makes a handy present so just bought 4 large Clean Cotton Jars as just run out of the bulk buy I made last year. Noticed straight away that the fragrance was not the usual strength. Have burned a few times now and sadly still the same hence only the 4 stars now. Hoping it's just a 'duff' jar (not good for the price of the product) and that the other 3 will be better quality.... Would hate to think that 'Yankee Candle' are cutting down on 'ingredients'...

Best Clean Fragrance at Yankee!
This fragrance is so wonderful. I was happy to see it has apple and lily in it and smells the house like fresh laundry. I have many of these large jars of Clean Cotton along with the plug ins and plan on lighting them up as soon as my Festive Fragrances are done! You cannot go wrong with this scent, fills a large room and with the plug ins everyone that enters say's it smells wonderful and fresh and clean. This scent gets me in the cleaning mood and I love the white color of this candle. I would recommend this scent to anyone who loves fresh clean laundry type scents and is a must have for any time of year!

Holds its fragrance Super well.
Clean Cotton's fragrance is one I never tire of.
And quality-wise it lasts long, burns slow and cleanly.
I also feel that it is a "safer" candle because the containers
Yankee Candle provides are well made and worth recycling for other things, as in the storage.
I just fully enjoy this candle and even bring it with me on trips.
And it is even better $$-wise when I can pull up or receive a
discount coupon with a deal I cannot pass up.
Lastly, my uderstanding is that the ingredients used in the making (and therefore the burning), of this product are safe and note dosing my air with harmful pollutants.
I will continue sticking to this brand of candle in the future.

Great Fresh, Clean Scent!
This is one of my favorites! The scent is fresh and clean and one of those scents that you can't go wrong with. Great Hot throw that fills the entire room.
This is one of my favorite scents to give as a gift to others when I am not sure what kind of scent is their favorite. Some people do not like food scents, others do not care for floral, but everyone I have given this to has loved it-because who doesn't love a fresh, clean scent. I high recommend giving this one a try!

Bought for my niece, she loves it!
My family like myself, loves fresh clean smelling scents. Who doesn't love Clean Cotton! It's an excellent fragrance throughout the home especially after the Holidays, to freshen up the house without all the fall and pine scents from Holidays, while cleaning up after the x-mas tree and just a wonderful scent that every time someone stops by, they notice Clean Cotton so refreshing, stocked up on the large jars, plug ins, scent beads, and fragrance oil as it's wonderful to burn while house cleaning. Really lifts your spirits and gets you into the housework even more. Lovely to burn in the evening also, this is just simply a wonderful fragrance for men and women. My niece fell in love and can't wait to buy more products in this line!
