[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was shopping for a new candle recently, and with allergies and asthma prominent in my home, the candle could not be loud so to speak or pungent. Not only was I attracted by the shape of the candles, but the smells were subtle but beautiful. I did not have to back away and cringe at the aromas. They smell expensive but are so reasonable. I just fell in love with Frasier Fir and Fireside!!! I couldn't believe that while burning, they sounded like a crackling fire. I don't believe I will go back to any other candle. My home smells inviting, homey and beautiful! Thank you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful sound/look Love this candle. We bought two at our local Yankee Candle store (Oatmeal Cookie and Frasier Fir), thanks to the buy one, get one half off deal. Frasier Fir is a perfect scent for the holidays. Burns amazing as well and lasted us around 120 hours. We’ve had other wood burning candles in the past, but none of them gave off such a strong, pleasant scent and realistic fireplace sound. Can’t recommend this candle enough. We’ve returned to the store since purchasing ours to buy more as Christmas presents for family. Can’t wait to hear which scent is their favorite!

The wonderful scent that it makes as it burns and the wonderful sound it makes it. it reminds me of my childhood and sitting in front of Wood fire's during the holiday seasons

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Long burning and festive! This candle is lovely. So far, it has burned for about twenty hours and only about a third of it is gone. The flame is incredible, almost bright enough to be suitable for reading. The snap, crackle and pop is nearly deafening at times but enjoyable, nonetheless. My only complaint is that the fragrance is VERY faint… but perhaps this is to encourage the roasting of marshmallows (yes, we are trying it tomorrow evening). I wish that there was a straight winter fragrance for after the holidays. I am looking forward to trying smoked jasmine.

It has a fabulous throw and gives a soft light for my entire room. The scent along with the soothing crackle of a real fireplace will have you keeping this candle on hand throughout the year.

I gave her this candle to help her feel comforted, safe and cared for. She was so happy to have been given such a beautiful candle in such a beautiful vessel, and the crackling sounds made it extra special. The scent is so refreshing, definitely brings about the joy of the Christmas season, actually for anytime you want to feel comforted, and at peace with the world. Thanks so much Yankee Candle for making this happen for my special co-worker.
