Smells Like The Holidays
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The official description of the scent is basically fall/winter fruits, such as apples, pears and "winter berries" which I parse as juniper berries, mixed with mulling spices of cinnamon and clove, along with some woodsy notes like "blonde wood," "pine firs," and finishing with some amber tones.
My husband, however, walked into the room and asked where I'd gotten cherry candy canes this early.
He's not wrong. It smells exactly like a cherry candy cane. I'm not sure if this was the intent, it's certainly a nice smell, but now I can't smell anything other than artificial cherry flavoring. Thanks, honey.

Wonderful!
Went to buy Frasier Fir candle (my favorite scent) and was asked if I had smelled the Crimson Berries. I said I had not and when I did it was HEAVENLY. Now I have TWO favorites! I just bought two more of these tonight. It definitely smells like Christmas. The Frasier Fir is the closest I have ever found that smells like a real tree!

Nauseatingly Strong Fragrance
I love Yankee Candle, I love Woodwick, and I EXCLUSIVELY buy these candles for my home. With that being said, the fragrance of this candle was so strong the first time I burned it in my bedroom that both my dog and I became nauseous from the strength of the scent. I tried to burn it a second time in my living room, which is openly connected to the rest of the house and has much more space for scents to dissipate. I burned it and within 10 minutes, my roommate came downstairs from her room to tell me the scent was too strong and was giving her a headache. It made me nauseous then as well. The thing is - the scent isn’t bad - it’s just the strongest thing I’ve ever smelled. It caused a profound physical reaction in every member of my household and we threw it away. I might have got a candle from a bad batch where there was a fragrance measuring error and they put waaaaaay too much of something in, but this was by FAR the worst experience I have ever had.
