Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love woodwick [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in love with woodwick candles. The way that they burn and the aroma is simply relaxing. You can hear the little crackles of the fire and the candles last so long. I did have a slight defected candle as the flame was very small and not crackling like other woodwicks, but that does not sway me away from this product. Lavender and cypress is one of my favorite mixtures of scents it eases my mind and allows me to feel comfortable and relaxed. After about three hours of burning this candle my wick came too and there was no longer a small flame. This is a great candle for a sensual evening.

The jar is neutral colored and very sleek looking, not too bulky, making it perfect for any countertop. I love how evenly the candle burns every time you light it. This candle will last for hours and hours of burning time! I can't wait to try other scents in this line. I will definitely recommend these candles to all my friends and family.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful scent [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m not normally a fan of lavender or anything overly floral, so I was hesitant to try this scent. I was originally going to gift it to a friend who loves any and all candles. But after I got a whiff, it became one of my favorites. It’s such a beautiful fresh, flowery and clean smell. It’s not overbearing with either the flowers or the woods. It is the perfect balance and it makes it so relaxing and calm. I am amazed. Definitely a new favorite.

The wick gives it a nice popping sounds like the fire place. The candle is long lasting. I love the brown jar look. It gives the fire a nice romantic glow. The smell is relaxing and rejuvenating. The lavender and cypress works really well together to give it a nice warm relaxing feel kind of fragrance. The cypress isn’t strong and it mix very well with the lavender to bring out the lavender smell without bringing out too much of the floral sense.

There’s something strange about the wood and wax combination that keeps it from burning bright at times I thought it had gone out, but it was still smoldering. With a different wick, this would be my favorite candle.

I'm not a floral candle person, but this doesn't smell super floraly. It smells like a beautiful outdoor day along the water, a garden, a river, etc.: fresh and clean with hints of nature. I love the "x" shaped wood wick and the cork lid. The wood wick helps it burn more evenly and predictably and the cork lid serves as a fantastic coaster for the candle when I have it burning on my stove top. I light this candle all the time - for all sorts of events or even evening quiet time!

The amber-colored glass that it sits in looks really pretty on my coffee table, and I love the faint sound that the wood wick makes as it burns. It smells incredible and I've already received so many compliments about the scent from guests that I've had over this past month. Everything about this candle feels more luxurious and expensive than it actually is so that's a huge plus for me. My one complaint is the giant sticker label on the front making it look a little tacky- I made sure to remove it after I got it, but it wasn't easy. Expensive brands offer more subtlety when it comes to branding that the more affordable brands lack.

I liked the packaging and quick shipping and it was easy to purchase the candle on the website. I like the scent of the candle however, it is very subtle - I can barely smell the scent in my living area while burning. I do like that it burns evenly and steady - I would probably invest in a larger size so I can smell the scent more.
